In 2010, Julia Ormond received an Emmy Award for her portrayal of Eustacia Cutler in the HBO movie “Temple Grandin.” That same year she presented the award to Eustacia Cutler herself. Six years later the two women presented together the same award to Dr. Catherine Lord, Director of the Center for Autism and The Developing Brain, a facility designed by Jaques Black, AIA.

The project, a joint program of New York-Presbyterian Hospital and the Departments of Psychiatry of Weill Cornell Medical College and Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons in partnership with New York Collaborates for Autism, involved converting a former men’s gym building in a landmarked behavioral healthcare building on New York Presbyterian’s White Plains, N.Y. campus.
