At E4H, we are dedicated to supporting the growth and success of our employees from underrepresented backgrounds and ensuring equitable treatment throughout the firm. 4wrd is our DEI initiative that provides staff with the tools and framework to succeed in the healthcare design industry. Our approach is centered on four goals: achieving a more balanced work force; emphasizing accountability; providing education and programming; and taking a DEI-based approach to design. These goals are supported by a robust mentoring program, employee resource groups, an annual scholarship supporting diversity in design, continuing education opportunities, and monthly 4wrd meetings. We partner with specialists for educational webinars on topics including unconscious bias, professional development, and building stronger teams. We are continuously working to improve our approach to design and providing opportunities for progress.
